Growing up SO quickly!

Here it is, December 9, 2010.  Where has this year GONE??  Natalie will be ONE in 20 days.  I just can't believe it.  She has started eating foods herself and is really enjoying it!  I made a pasta bake last weekend and boy oh boy .. did she have herself a good time!

Of course it was straight to the bathtub after dinner! She looked like a completely different child afterward! lol
Angel was in an extremely photogenic mood last weekend! Lately it has been hard to snatch a picture of her but she showed her beautiful personality last weekend and let me get it on camera! :)

and to end this update tonight .. is my bug on the spider go! ;)

Pasta Fun!

This has been an Italian dinner week at my house.  I made what Hannah is calling homemade spaghetti O's (wagon wheel pasta, LOL) and then turned it into a pasta bake the next night.  Natalie is pretty good with not shoving too much into her mouth, chewing, and not choking so I decided to let her GO AT it!  She had a blast.

Snow, Thanksgiving, Family and a NON Stop baby!

Boy did that snow really hit us all!! Really wasn't expecting to be "stranded" darn near three days. Kind of funny how the city shuts down every time that it snows but really I am not complaining as I got to be home with my family. Hannah had a blast! Mostly cold but still tried to make a snowman. She got the body and mid section together and then decided that she was too cold and we ended up with the headless snowman! LOL.  Unfortunately I never did get back out to take a picture of the headless snowman! Oh well, always next snow!

Here is Natalie wondering why the HECK she has SOOOO many clothes on!!

 My beautiful Snow Angel!
She got up on the trampoline and just had a snowy jumpy good time!
I accidently locked Hannah out of the house! She didn't take kindly to me finding the camera to take a picture of her crying and locked outside.  I couldn't help it though!!

This is the extent of how far Natalie got in the snow.  She thought it was funny to laugh at but she wanted NOTHING to do with the cold part of it.
We had Thanksgiving at our house and while I enjoy entertaining I somehow let it completely overwhelm every ounce of my body! All in all I had a nice time with family! I was exhausted by the end of the night that's for sure!  I STILL have T Day left overs! ahhhh!!!!  Tried to get a couple pictures of the bug on her first Thanksgiving and she JUST wasn't having it!

The next day we relaxed during the morning and then headed down to Seattle in the afternoon to watch the Christmas Tree lighting and the lighting of the Macy (FOREVER BON MARCHE!) Star.  Afterward, we headed over to Grandma and Papa's hotel and the girls went swimming and had a great time! Natalie laughed her little head off and she just had so much fun!  It was fun to watch her enjoy swimming with Papa especially after her summer of growling every time she got in a pool! She has officially become my water baby!  The big girls had the pools to themselves basically! It was hard to get them to stop for a picture as those girls are most DEFINITELY my water babies!!!

It was hard to get a picture while Ms. Bug was in my arms trying to grab the camera.  This is what we got! lol

AND In a midst of all the snow and holiday bustle .. Natalie started to actually crawl.  She's been moving here and there for some time but man NOW she is everywhere!  We had to officially put up the gate we bought ions ago (never thought I would have to put it up as stubborn as she is lol).  She is up and under and around and into everything! Funny how you forget these things when your other child is seven! Never a dull moment in our house that's for sure!

Duckie and Witches OH MY!

So surprisingly .. here I am .. just one short week, and I am blogging again! I am telling you, this may become a new trend for me!

Fall is by FAR my FAVORITE time of year! I love the colors and everything that follows. Dressing up the kids, taking them trick or treating (even though that has become more of a Dad and Daughter thing lol) and then checking Hannah's Boo bag for "quality control". Hey, my parents did it to me, only right to pass on the tradition! ;)

This was Natalie's FIRST Halloween. She wasn't keen on it either. Did not want to be in the Duckie outfit, wouldn't really look at the camera while in it, and GROWLED as she sat in the stroller as we began to Trick or Treat. Needless to say, we only made it to four houses before Natalie was done and we went back to Grandma and Papa's as Hannah and her daddy trekked on. Natalie however LOVED to pass out the candy with Papa and would squeal with such delight at the kids in the costumes! It was too funny for us (and even a couple of the mom's that came to the door!)

Here are some pictures of my Duckie Halloween night:

I gave into Hannah's wish for the last THREE years .. she got to be a witch for Halloween. Now mind you, I'm not all ready to make my beautiful girl all scary for Halloween. I like to play dress up and what better time to do it then at Halloween .. so needless to say I have never let her be a witch as there were always FAR cuter costumes to dress her in. Well, we compromised .. she got her witch, and I got to glam her up as we agreed that she could be a glitter witch! :) I know .. only me! Alex's mom thought she looked like a Kid Model :) Here are a couple pictures of my glitter witch:

We didn't have Angel this year but she also was a witch! Her mom did an amazing job on the makeup! So Beautiful Angel Baby!

Here are a couple shots of them carving pumpkins the night before too! :)

Welcome to My World!

FOREWORD: My mom has officially been after me since I was pregnant with Natalie to start a blog. "Everyone is doing it" I always hear. I always respond with I work full time and have two kids etc etc. Doesn't change her view that I too should have a blog! LOL. So here I am .. blogging... write it on the calendar folks! :)

Okay so where to start. ....

Alex and I have been together since May 2001! So hard to believe that I was still in High School when we met! Boy has life changed SO much since that! He states it was "fate" that had us meet and I have finally accepted that! LOL .. especially since we met at a gas station. Life is never dull in our lives that is for sure.

Alex and I in July 2001. Our first Fourth of July Together!

Alex has found his calling (a job he actually enjoys) in Demo/Core Drilling. The fact that he is working in this economy in those fields is just amazing! We are thankful every day that is for sure!

I am a Paralegal in Kent and have been since 2002. I have two beautiful children, Hannah Mae who is 7 years old and Natalie Michele who will be 10 months old on 10/29/10. Time has definitely flown by this year!

I also have the pleasure of being a step mom to my beautiful step daughter Angeline. We call her Angel, Ang, Angel baby ;) It has been a joy to watch this girl grow up from being ONE to the amazing wonderful loving sister and daughter she is today! I can't imagine my life without her in it! She is in 5th grade this year and is very excited about doing the crossing guard for school! Her laugh and smile are just infectious!

We are planning our first BIG vacation together as a complete family for this spring. I am DETERMINED to take Miss Mae to Disneyland for her 8th birthday! She will be so excited. She keeps asking me when she gets to go because she never has gone (her sister Angel has been twice) so I just keep telling her someday while I am smiling inside knowing that I will be doing everything in my power to get us down there this April/May! Hannah is doing swimming this fall. She chose that over gymnastics but I think next month we will be doing gymnastics again. Depends on the day for Hannah. She is enjoying second grade and has joined the dance team at school! I can't wait to see her first performance. She is so into being the center of attention and moving that this will be great for her.

Hannah doing what we love to do best in the Fall ... PUMPKIN HUNTING!

Let's see .. my Natalie Bug. She is a stubborn one! As I mentioned earlier, she will be ten months here in two days. She's not crawling, she's not walking but somehow she finds ways to move around and get things. Usually it involves pulling blankets towards her to get what she wants. She does things at her pace that is for sure. It is different watching Natalie grow in comparison to Hannah as by ten months Hannah was walking and talking and ON THE GO! Hannah literally grew up so fast it is kind of nice to watch Natalie move at her slow pace and enjoy her being a baby for just a little bit longer!

Here's a couple pictures of my Bug (who makes the FUNNIEST faces) over the last 10 months

I will do my best at keeping this updated! I think it just may become a new addiction for me! ;)

Happy Hump Day All!!
